The historic maritime republic of Venice has known coffee since the golden age of trading with the East. Spices and vanilla, an important part of the maritime tradition, are central to this blend of espresso with a naturally sweet taste.
Venezia is a sophisticated blend with an enveloping body. Historically, coffee was imported to Venice from the East on wooden sailing ships. The effect of the monsoons, tropical ocean winds, covered the beans with a yellowish patina during the journey, resulting in a unique coffee with spicy vanilla notes.
Characteristics:
80% arabica, 20% robusta
Round body, light taste, aromas of vanilla.
