Gianduiotti is one of the typical products of the Piedmont region, which is made from soft gianduia cream (chocolate hazelnut cream).

Two types of nougat, smooth gianduia and pistachio are hidden in this beautiful box. Even after opening, the aroma coming out is irresistible. Also excellent as a gift in its decorative box. A soft, creamy delicacy.

The box contains: 30 mixed nougats (about 8g/nougat), 15 giandujotto and 15 pistacchiotto (pistachio)

Details

The Davide Barbero company has a long and glorious history. Thanks to some official documents of the church of Mombercelli d'Asti, their story probably did not begin in 1883, but even earlier, in 1838.

Since then, other members of the family have been running the company, representing quality, careful preparation by producing delicious and special sweets.

Various documents from the city's archives attest that Filippo Barbero was the baker in the church of Mombercelli d'Asti (in that period, bakers made bread, cakes, biscuits, but also nougats and other sweets). The desire to start a company may have started from him.

Finally, Filippo Barbero's son, Melchiorre Barbero authorized the sale of the nougats in 1883 (which is why this is considered the official date when it comes to the birth of the company), won a series of awards for the sweets he made, and thus gained more and more fame.

Melchiorre Barbero's son, Davide Barbero took over the leadership role after him and successfully continued to grow the company, moving it to a more central location.
