Dough (85%): wheat flour, candied amarena cherry 21% (amarena cherry, glucose syrup, sugar), butter, free-range egg yolk, water, cane sugar, natural yeast (wheat flour, water), honey, salt, natural aroma: vanilla.

Glaze (15%):sugar, water, almonds 12%, almonds flour 5%, rice flour, egg white, olive oil, corn starch, flavourings.

May contain traces of other nuts, soy and mustard.

A dough of fresh eggs, butter, cane sugar and honey, naturally flavoured with whole Bourbon vanilla pods from Madagascar and leavened with small quantities of Filippi’s mother dough, carefully guarded and kept alive with regular daily refreshments for 40 years. To this traditional recipe they added a lot of sour cherries, which have an irregular form because they are pitted while still fresh, then candied for several weeks in open-air tanks.
A tasty colomba, the Italian Easter cake, marked by a delicate bouquet, definitely sweet, but at the same time pleasantly tart.
