REA is a PDO (protected designation of origin) premium extra virgin olive oil from the Salerno hills, made from Rotondella (10%), Carpellese (50%) and Frantoio (40%) olives harvested by hand in October/November.

The olive oil takes its name from Rea, mother of Zeus and wife of Cronus, the king of the Titans. It has a very well balanced bitterness and spiciness, on the nose it shows a lively fruitiness of green, herbaceous olives, in which elegant notes of apple, artichoke and green tomato blend together in great harmony. On the palate it is fine and complex with accented tones of thistle, artichokes and almonds. The intriguing and persistent notes of grass give a remarkable balance to the bitter and spicy tones.

Excellent for seasoning first courses, grilled red meats, legumes and bruschetta.

Attention! Extra virgin olive oil should never be stored for a long time in a transparent bottle without a cap, because the quality of the oil may deteriorate due to the influence of light and oxygen!
