Chipotle is a type of smoked chilli pepper typical of Mexican cuisine, usually it is made with the Jalapeno pepper, but other varieties can be used as well.

The long smoking process gives a special flavour to this chilli, we recommend to use it raw on dishes so as not to lose its peculiar aroma. Very suitable for meats, fish, BBQ in general, legumes and vegetables.
