The Baglio Ingardia Agricultural Company is located on the slopes of Mount Erice, in the fertile countryside of the province of Trapani. The origins of the Baglio date back to the 18th century, when it was built by Baron Todaro della Galia who planted a lush olive grove of around 10 hectares on the farm. Having become part of the properties of the Ingardia family, in the last century it was renovated to welcome the many Oil, Beer, and Wine lovers. The company has been expanded above all thanks to the hard work carried out over the years which has further consolidated the beauty of the Baglio and the quality of the products. Today Baglio Ingardia has a cultivated area of over 20 hectares. It is managed by his daughter Mariella and his nephews Nicola and Salvatore who follow with particular care the production and marketing phases of excellent products such as: organic extra virgin olive oil, wines and craft beer.
The Ingardia family strongly believes in the value of eco-sustainability. Equipped with a modern irrigation system, the Baglio boasts a reservoir with a capacity of approximately 45,000 m3: this guarantees the necessary water resources during hot and dry periods, and helps to always keep the quality of the fruit harvested from the plants high. All the land is cultivated using exclusively organic fertilizers, applying the practice of green manure of legumes produced exclusively on the farm, fundamental for the improvement, fertilization and protection of the soil.
Baglio Ingardia has always been characterized by the search for quality while fully respecting the environment, and has chosen to convert to organic farming.
