This honey extracted from the beehives by cold centrifugation and the temperature of the processing is below 45 °C, to maintain the properties of the micronutrients. Chestnut honey remains liquid thanks to the pollen composition of the nectar of its flower. Colour: from amber to almost black. Bouquet: strong and penetrant. Taste: similar to the odour, pungent at the beginning, tending to bitter. Origin: Piedmontese alps.
