Agrimontana's chestnut products are made only from selected Italian chestnuts. It is processed using an exciting and simple process that respects tradition.
The chestnuts are cooked at a controlled temperature in candiing syrup, so that the sugar concentration gradually increases. Traditional slow processes are preferred to preserve flavour and texture.
During sweetening, the chestnuts are enriched with the intense and long-lasting scent of Madagascar vanilla and cane sugar from Mauritius and the Reunion Islands, and finally roasted.
