CRAK Pizzapils Freestyle – Taking Pizzapils to the Next Level

At CRAK Brewery, standing still is never part of the plan. Pizzapils® has already earned its place as one of Italy's most celebrated modern pilsners, but the brewers in Padua wanted to explore what would happen if they pushed the hop character even further.

The result is Pizzapils Freestyle – an amplified version of the original recipe, enhanced with an extra dry-hop addition of New Zealand's renowned Riwaka and Motueka hops. The outcome is a beer that retains the crisp elegance of a classic Italian pilsner while introducing an entirely new layer of vibrant hop expression.

The foundation remains unmistakably Pizzapils: clean, lean and wonderfully drinkable. On top of that comes an intense burst of hop aroma, transforming the beer into something even more expressive and refreshing.

Riwaka and Motueka contribute bright notes of lime, citrus zest and tropical fruit, while flavours of melon and passion fruit add depth and complexity. Despite the enhanced hop profile, the beer remains beautifully balanced, with a crisp body and refreshing dryness that keep every sip light and inviting.
