Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and bathed in sunshine for much of the year, Sicily provides the ideal home for Grillo, one of the island’s most celebrated white grape varieties. Akrille Grillo Sicilia DOC captures both the freshness of the coastal breeze and the richness of the Sicilian landscape.

Harvested at the end of August and carefully vinified in stainless steel, the wine preserves the purity and vibrancy of the grape.

In the glass, it displays a pale straw-yellow colour with green reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits, while the palate combines lively acidity with pronounced minerality and a subtle saline edge. Notes of pear, pineapple and jasmine linger on the finish.

Refreshing and elegant, this is a classic Sicilian white wine that pairs beautifully with seafood, fried fish, white meats and fresh cheeses.
