Made with 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Bianco grapes, aged on the lees for at least 24 months. In magnum bottle.
This brut wine is named after a little bird, the blackcap (capinera), which in summer often comes to rest on the leaves of the vineyards behind the house. It is clean and well-coordinated, with a hint of fresh fruit, sweet pastry notes and distinctive citrus tones, making it the ideal companion wine.
CHARACTERISTICS
Extra-fine perlage; straw-yellow colour with slightly golden streaks. On the nose, fresh yet intense notes of Mediterranean citrus and crisp yellow fruit – cedar, orange and lemon – giving way to more clearly defined aromas such as moss, pennyroyal and thyme, for an almost balsamic fragrance. On the palate, multi-faceted sensations blend beautifully in the body of the wine, with the perfect combination of its signature elements making for a sensual taste experience. A Franciacorta with plenty of body that maintains its innate elegance and fresh appeal, perfect at mealtimes.
