The Pedemontis Jaiet Langhe Favorita DOC is an elegant and expressive premium Piedmontese white wine that reflects the rich winemaking heritage of Piedmont in northern Italy. The Favorita grape has been documented in the region since the 17th century and today represents one of the most distinctive niche white wines of the area.
The grapes are grown on south-east facing vineyards at 270 metres above sea level and harvested by hand during the coolest hours of the day. Gentle vinification and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserve the freshness and aromatic clarity of the wine.
The wine shows a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Its bouquet is intense and fruity with notes of white flowers and apple, while the palate is fresh, dry and well balanced. This quality Italian wine from Piedmont is an excellent aperitif and pairs beautifully with seafood starters, shellfish, light fish dishes or sushi.
