The Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is not your usual rose and is very little known outside Abruzzo.Cerasuolo is synonymous with ancient Abruzzo rural life, with house wine brought by farmers to the fields to refresh themselves on summer days. It is the first wine with which they test the vintage quality of Montepulciano grapes.
Made with organic Montepulciano grapes grown in the heart of the DOCG Colline Teramane appellation area, this Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo has a darker tone of pink compared to all other rosé wines due to the grape's skin colour. It has a fruity nose with notes of strawberry and pomegranate. Perfectly balanced with enough structure and minerality to be paired with heavier dishes as well as with pizza or a tomato-based pasta.
