Assuntina di Capri Bergamot Liqueur was created exclusively at the request of Buono.hu Italian Fine Food, born from our passion for the unmistakable aroma and flavour of Calabrian bergamot. Every December we import untreated bergamots from southern Italy, making it only natural to transform this extraordinary citrus fruit into an artisan liqueur together with Assuntina di Capri.

Crafted using the traditional limoncello method, this unique liqueur is made with Calabrian bergamots, harvested when fully ripe, the peel still abundant in essential oils and the juice is less  bitter. The result is a beautifully fragrant and remarkably elegant expression of one of Italy's most distinctive citrus fruits.

The nose reveals the unmistakable perfumy floral and citrus notes that make bergamot so unique, while the palate is smooth, refined and perfectly balanced. Its sweetness is harmonious rather than overpowering, allowing the fresh, aromatic character of the bergamot to take centre stage.
