The honey comes from the Terre Nere winery's own production from a chestnut forest from Etna at an altitude of up to 1,200 metres. Chestnut honey tends to crystallise very slowly and irregularly or even remain liquid. It is particularly rich in minerals, of moderate sweetness and an appealing bitter note.
